The story is great, the premise is fun, but the interface needs updates.... Allow us to flip back through the story/pages... If we need to go back to refresh on information, its impossible. Not to mention if you accidentally advance with the wrong response selected, you have to deal with it. Very frustrating! Otherwise, I love Choice Games :)

I cannot stop saying how much I love this series!

Great storyline! It makes you really think about how you want to act while playing. I ended up with half the city liking me and the other half hating me and a intense relationship with Black Magic. Very fun! Worth the money!

I stumbled across this game searching for "gay" in the app store. This is because you are given the choice of sexuality and story will include plot developments that reflect those choices. (Though there are no real sex act references - just cuddling, kissing, bare skin, etc. and the "next morning" references.) I am definitely glad I bought it. I could not stop playing it. I even chose this over Netflix, PS4 and other iPad games until I finished the first play through. It was a nice refreshing challenge to READ a game...low stress, but enough story development and excitement to keep me coming back. There are some real moral choices to make. The prose is definitely like a comic book, with more embellishment and back story. Well worth the price! Now to play it again as a bad guy!

I absolutely love this storyline

This game is the most amazing thing Ive ever experienced. How anyone could rate anything less than five stars for this app is beyond me. This author has managed to write a truly astounding novel, the type of writing that wins awards, and turned it into a game, one that provides a whole new experience each time you play it. It and ALL the sequels after it will certainly serve as a nearly endless form of entertainment and will remain with me for years to come.

This was the best text based adventure I have ever read...played? Anyways, the plot was creatively thought out, the writing was amazing, and it seriously captures your attention (like seriously, read it over the summer, cause youre never gonna want to put it down!). All of your choices really make a difference, and you feel like youre really in the book...game? Totally worth every (expensive) penny!

My personal favorite Choice of Game and it is on my favorites list. Getting this game is without a doubt worth every penny.

I bought this when it first came out and have bought every sequel since. Absolutely, 100 percent recommend it if: You like superheroes. Reading through an awesome story where your actions really mean something. Did I mention you make your own superhero? (Its all in your head, but hey, it makes some difference in the game/book.) Anyway, everyone that likes to read should have a CoG story.

Extremely well written, but I dont like the fact that to get the good ending, decisions you have to make are pretty linear.

Having been made aware of this nifty app by the Team DBAH podcast, I decided to buy the bundle to play this cool sounding game. It was a fun game to play, putting me into the shoes of my hero as the story progresses the way I saw fit, which was next to impossible for me to stop until I reached the conclusion. If you enjoy anything like what a TellTale game is like, but hesitant to play in the form of text based gameplay, then rest assured that you will not be disappointed. I cannot wait to play the sequels to this awesome game.

Your story has a pretty set course, and dont think that deciding wether your hero cares more about the fame or the justice is enough of a choice. Any choice you pick you win and no choice causes much change. Also, what if I want to be a darker hero? what the tragedy made them fear fame and attention? what they wanted revenge? What if I wanted to be a villain?

Can I just say this is the best interactive story Ive ever read! Its thrilling and beautiful at the same time. I love the characters and everything in it. Thank you.

This game is incredible! Ive become addicted and always try new choices. Anything can happen, really. You can date anyone, succeed, die, etc. This has such an excellent storyline it should be made into a book. Amazing job!
